The English Exemption Exam will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, between 11:00 and 11:50 for newly registered students who wish to be exempted from the English 1 (ING101) and English 2 (ING102) courses offered by UZEM (Distance Education Center) during the 2025-2026 Academic Year.

Taking the Exemption Exam is optional, not compulsory.

Eligibility:

• Only newly registered students of our university are eligible to apply for this exam (excluding the Translation and Interpreting Department).

• Applications from other students will not be accepted.

Application Process and Deadline:

• Students who wish to apply for the Exemption Exam must submit a petition to their respective units (Faculty/School/Vocational School) by 17:00 on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

• Petitions submitted after September 25, 2025, will absolutely not be accepted.

Exam Details:

• The list of students eligible to take the exam and the exam location information will be announced by the units where the students are registered (Faculty/School/Vocational School).

• Students who score a minimum of 60 out of 100 on the exam will be exempted from the English courses.
